## KLM Playground Renovation – Tema

The KLM Playground in Community 4, Tema is more than a basketball court it's a community landmark where young people gather to learn, compete, and build lasting relationships through sport. As part of a collaborative initiative between KLM Area, Free The Youth and Fomagroh, this iconic court was transformed into a vibrant, high quality space that reflects the energy and creativity of the community it serves.

Fomagroh was proud to contribute its expertise in sports court construction and resurfacing, delivering a durable playing surface with professional court finishing and line marking designed to withstand intensive daily use. The project combined technical excellence with bold visual design, creating a court that is both performance-driven and culturally significant.

Today, the renovated KLM Playground serves as the home court for a growing youth basketball community, providing a safe and inspiring environment for daily training, tournaments, mentorship, and community events. The playground has become a symbol of what can be achieved when local organizations, creatives, and sports professionals work together toward a shared vision of empowering the next generation through sport.

This project reflects Fomagroh's belief that sports facilities are more than infrastructure they are platforms for opportunity, unity, and lasting community impact. Working alongside Free The Youth and the KLM Area community, we helped create a space where basketball continues to inspire confidence, discipline, creativity, and hope for young people in Tema.
