Project Overview
Basketball Court Renovation – Takoradi Technical University | 2021
In 2021, Fomagroh successfully renovated the outdoor basketball court at Takoradi Technical University as part of Beltway Ghana's Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative. The project was undertaken to provide students and the surrounding community with a safe, modern, and high-quality sporting facility that encourages active lifestyles and promotes the growth of basketball.
The renovation involved restoring the court surface, repairing damaged areas, applying a professional sports coating system, and completing precision line marking to meet regulation basketball standards. The upgraded facility was designed to improve player safety, enhance game performance, and withstand years of continuous outdoor use under Ghana's climate.
By transforming an aging court into a vibrant and durable playing surface, the project created an environment where students can train, compete, and build teamwork while strengthening the university's sporting culture. The renovated court also serves as a valuable community asset, supporting recreational activities and youth development beyond the campus.
This project demonstrates Fomagroh's commitment to delivering sustainable, high-performance sports facilities and highlights the positive impact that strategic partnerships can have on communities.
