St. Francis of Assisi School Basketball Court Renovation – Anaji | 2022

In 2022, Fomagroh proudly renovated the basketball court at St. Francis of Assisi School in Anaji as part of a community-driven initiative led by L.I.F.E. League (USA) and Social Drive Foundation (Ghana). The project was inspired by a shared vision of creating a safe, modern, and inclusive space where both students and children from the surrounding community could learn, play, and grow through basketball.

Fomagroh carried out the court renovation with a focus on durability, safety, and performance. The works included restoring the playing surface, preparing and finishing the court, and applying professional basketball line markings to create a facility capable of supporting daily training, recreational play, and competitive activities for years to come.

The impact of the project was immediate. Following the completion of the renovation, **Social Drive Foundation**, in collaboration with **Access Your Game**, organized a basketball development camp on the newly refurbished court. The camp brought together young players from the school and the wider community, providing quality coaching, skill development, mentorship, and an opportunity to experience the positive values of teamwork, discipline, and leadership through sport.

Today, the St. Francis of Assisi basketball court stands as a lasting symbol of what can be achieved through meaningful collaboration between international organizations, local nonprofits, and technical experts.
